An ancient medieval village dating back to around the year 1000 AD situated in a dominant position on the top of the its own hill.
Cool summers and mild winters characterize the climate of this village, just 36km from the coast and the sea of ??some of the most famous seaside places in Tuscany, such as Follonica or Castiglione della Pescaia.
Description of the apartment
The cheap one bedroom apartment that we offer for sale is located in the heart of the medieval center, right above what in ancient times were the walls of the castle. This elevated position allows you to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view from all 4 windows of the house. A view of the greenery that ranges from the Siena‘s area to the nearby town of Prata. On clear days in the distance you can also see the Island of Elba and Corsica.
The house has its own independent entrance and is spread over two levels beyond which there is only the roof. There are therefore no other homes or people above.
On the ground floor there is a large living room with kitchenette characterized by ancient exposed beams and a storage room in front of the entrance.
You go up to the first floor via an ancient stone staircase and here there is a large double bedroom and a small bathroom.
An inexpensive house in the hills of Tuscany, perfect as a base for days at the beach or to visit the many beauties and attractions in the surrounding area, such as the Roste or the Abbey of St Galgano.
